The-Importance-and-Virtue-of-the-Holy-Month-of-Ramadan-Hadith

The month of Ramadan is a blessed month and the importance of this month can be determined from the fact that the Holy Quran was revealed in this holy month of Ramadan. The first ten days of Ramadan are for mercy, the second ten days are for forgiveness, and the third ten days are for salvation from the fire of Hell.

When the moon of Ramadan appeared, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to say that it was a month of goodness and blessings. This moon is full of goodness and blessings and I believe in the One who created you.

Jibraeel (peace be upon him) prayed that the person who got the month of Ramadan and could not get his forgiveness should perish. Upon which Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) said Amen. We should understand the importance of Ramadan with this prayer of Hazrat Jibraeel (peace be upon him) and the prophet’s (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying of “Ameen” to it.

Fasting is a great duty that Allah Almighty has assigned to himself and on the Day of Resurrection; Allah Almighty will reward the fasting person without any intermediary. In all the ways of worship that Allah has revealed to his servants, there must be some wisdom hidden in them. Prayer is the source of attaining Allah. In it, the servant speaks to his true God. Certainly, fasting is also a means of pleasing Allah Almighty.

According to a Ramadan hadith, Ramadan is the month of Allah Almighty, which shows that Allah Almighty has a special relationship with this blessed month and due to which this blessed month is different from other months.

It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Jabir bin Abdullah that: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

“In the month of Ramadan, my Ummah was given five things that no prophet had before me”.

The first is when it is the first night of Ramadan Allah looks at them with mercy and whomever Allah has mercy on, he will never be punished. The second one is that the smell of their mouths in the evening (which is caused by hunger) is better than the fragrance of musk in the sight of Allah. The third one is that the angels pray for their forgiveness every day and night. Fourthly, the Allah Almighty commands Paradise, be adorned for my (righteous) servants, soon they will find relief from the hardships of the world in my home and grace. Fifth, when the last night of Ramadan comes Allah forgives all. Considering all these virtues of this blessed month of Ramadan, Muslims should make special arrangements for worship during this month. We need to always glorify Allah in this blessed month and arrange different wazaif on the tasbih.

In this blessed month, worship has been made obligatory in a way that a man can be engaged in all his needs and wants with his worship during this blessed month of Ramadan. Such a special form of worship is called fasting, which is obligatory during this month. Fasting is a wonderful act of worship in which a person can perform all his duties by fasting.
